State Fair 05

These pix are from the Kansas State Fair a couple of weeks ago. The kids had a great time walking around looking at things, riding rides & petting animals! They had a neat white tiger show and a dinosaur exhibit that were free to get into (thankfully!) They had so much fun riding the rides! What a ham! This was Scooby Doo's Mystery Machine van - we had to ride it because they both love Scooby! They got the roles reversed here but Livi couldn't see through the taller hole. They really liked the baby zebra! Yeah - pony rides!!!

Josh is 30!

I can't believe that my big brother has turned 30! My oldest brother, Josh, turned the big 3-0 on Aug. 27. We had a party to celebrate & we all had a good time! Brian & Seth have some fun wrestling. Seth scratches Branden's back using some yucky alligator foot back-scratcher (yep, it's a real foot!) Adam & Seth having fun with a ribbon from one of Josh's presents. Olivia enjoying some cake - Grandmom made 2 sheet cakes: chocolate & pinapple (Josh's favorite!) I'm not sure exactly what the birthday boy is doing???? Olivia's new bed & bike

Olivia recently got two new big girl items: a new bed (she wanted out of her crib!) & a new bike (graciously donated by our neighbor, Bailea). She's loving both of them! Now she can keep up with the big kids in our neighborhood on her bike with training wheels (almost!). We bought her a trundle bed and it's so tall she has to have a stool to get into it - but now she's ready for her first friend to sleep over! She just took off one day peddling -- she had been too scared before since it is a little wobbly with training wheels. She's so proud of herself! Anyone think she's really asleep? She hasn't even gotten out of bed once in the middle of the night! Yeah! We can finally put her hair in a ponytail! Isn't it cute?!

fishing

Gramps & Grams Burch (my grandparents on my mom's side) picked up Seth one afternoon & took him fishing. It was his first time to go fishing but he learned how to cast on his new pole by about the third try. Although he was a little onry (teasing Grams) they said they had lots of fun with him! Our neighbors, Jacob & Bailea, came with me & Olivia to pick Seth up from fishing. Seth using his brand new fishing pole! Gramps, Seth & Grams

Brian/Jeanie's Birthday 4-27-05

These pictures were from Brian & Jeanie (my mom)'s birthday on April 27, 2005. They share that day as their birthday so we celebrate it together. Uncle Lance & Aunt Kathleen had fun kissing on Seth & Olivia. They just love playing hard-to-get!
