Rock City

To help celebrate Seth's birthday we went to Rock City, just outside Minneapolis, where my brother, Lance, & his family live. Seth had a blast climbing on the rocks & we all enjoyed watching him do so. We did this on his actual birthday. My brother Lance, my sis-in-law Kathleen, my nephew Adam. Seth stole Daddy's hat - ha! GrandMom & GrandDad with the birthday boy! GrandDad & GrandMom with Olivia. Seth & Uncle Lance climbing the big rocks. Seth was able to climb a lot of the rocks all by himself. This rock had a big crevice that Olivia could fit right into. Seth, Adam & Uncle Lance being goofy. Seth in the same rock Olivia was in.

Seth is 5!!!!!

I can't believe that my little boy is already 5 years old! Seth officially turned 5 on October 16 but we partied for more than a week due to the large number of family members that came to celebrate with us. Unfortunately that large number forces us to have seperate Morgan/Vernon birthday parties but we would not be able to fit all of us into our house! Seth had a great time and got some great toys that he is having a blast with! He even got to have his first friend come to a party, which he was so happy about! Seth wanted a batman cake this year. This is the one I made for the Morgan party. Our family getting ready for the Morgan party. Olivia and Allie watch Seth open his presents. This is part of the pop-a-shot/air hockey/foos ball table that my mom & dad got him. He had a lot of fun playing with his friend, Austin. I'm a pro at the bat symbol, making it twice now! Seth on his actual birthday with some gifts.Seth got 3 different Nerf guns: we're ready for war! Trying out the pop-a-shot. It makes noises & keeps score! Our family at the Vernon party.

Seth playing soccer

Seth began playing soccer this month. It is our first go with (semi) organized sports and thankfully things have been going well. The first game was a little rough, Seth wasn't very aggressive and didn't like it when the other kids blocked his shots or touched his jersey. The next two games have gone better and Seth has been better about getting in the mix and going after the ball. The last game he was very cute to watched his shadow and ran right past the ball a couple times! Thanks to everyone who has been able to come watch him play, he enjoys having a crowd cheer him on! Seth has a grey hooded sweatshirt & purple pants on. Getting to kick the ball! Olivia enjoyed baby Braelynn more than watching Seth! Seth loves his jersey, shinguards & cleats! He feels very big!
