Ballerina or Cheerleader?

Olivia got lots of fun presents for her birthday. She really enjoys being a girly-girl so the ballerina and cheerleader outfits she got are perfect for that! Our friends & neighbors Jeff, Nikki, Jacob & Bailea Crist got her this ballerina outfit with an instructional DVD to learn ballet! Thanks guys! Cousins Lynnea, Branden & Braelynn found this awesome K-State cheerleader uniform! It even had the lollies that say "Go Wildcats!" Now we just need some purple & white pom-poms... Go Cats!!! Enough said...

Build-A-Bear Fun!

On Olivia's birthday (Jan. 31) we took the kids to Build-A-Bear workshop in Wichita so that they could create their own teddybears. It was the first time we had been in the store and we all had a lot of fun! The kids got to choose which bear they wanted, chose a sound to put in it, watched it get stuffed, put in a heart, watched it get sewn together, gave it an air bath, and then picked out outfits for their new friends. Olivia chose a fuzzy purple bear with a "happy birthday bear" song for her sound and got fairy and cheerleader outfits for her bear "Angelina". Seth chose a black bear with a growl for his sound and found spiderman and batman outfits for his bear "Peter Parker". I'm pretty sure that my mom & I had more fun picking out clothes than Brian but he did find the costumes before Seth did so I think he had more fun than he let on! We'll definately go back to add to the bears' wardrobes. Olivia & Seth getting ready to build their bears! You can see the huge selection behind them! So much to choose from! Olivia putting socks on Angelina Seth getting Peter Parker dressed in his costume The kids had to give their bears hearts' kisses and rubbed them with their hands to get them warm before they went into the bear. They also put the heart on their muscles so the bear would be strong and made a wish on it. Olivia & "cheerleader" Angelina "Batman" Peter Parker & "cheerleader" Angelina with Seth, GrandMom, Olivia & GrandDad The kids with their finished products. They even made the bears birth certificates!

Christmas Program 05

These are pictures from Seth's preschool Christmas Program this year. He did a very good job singing & had fun making ornaments with me. He surprised me with a wonderful ornament that had his picture in it! Seth brought me my surprise present! Seth is in between his best friend, Austin & Austin's little brother Caden. Caden didn't want to sit on his mom's lap so he got down on the floor & sang with the boys - it was very cute! Seth making ornaments for our tree.
